Clarendon Hotel is situated in the heart of South Melbourne, close to public transport and within easy reach of Melbourne's CBD. Established in 1861 by Charles Chessell, it was initially known as the Albion hotel. Over the years, the hotel went through various name changes and rebuilt. Though not much of the original interior remains, this magnificent architectural masterpiece stood the test of time, and continues to reflect its late Victoria date of construction and ambience.
